I got this yesterday for 360. Played for an hour or so. It's incredibly difficult.
A few nerdy engineers get together to play Nintendo DS over lunch and talk about video games. I started this blog thinking we'd all post to it. But now it's pretty much just "Dave's place to post about games and/or whatever tech thing I'm thinking about lately."

Adam Sessler had an interesting thing to say about this game and how it didn't put its best foot forward - i.e. how it starts in no way represents the type of game it becomes. I'd over these tips of advice.
1) the game before the credits in no way represents the gameplay of the majority of the game - this is not a standard shooter and that part is straight up FPS.
2) get the augment in the upper left corner of the tree (CASIE) - it enhances your ability to read people during conversations and makes some situations a cake walk. Plus it's fun to be all "The Mentalist" on people.
3) The game WANTS you to play as a stealth/hacker (it just doesn't explicitly tell you that). I've been speccing hacker stuff (gets a little easier to hack once you figure out how the mini-game works).
4) The first main mission seemed a little hard as well compared to other area (perhaps because your not augmented up too much yet).
Anyway, once you get past the first mission at the Sarif plant, side quests open up and the game really starts to show what it's about. Stick with it if you can, it pays off.
I had heard some of that in general on a podcast but specifics are always helpful. I should have more time this week to get farther into it. I'm a little bit worried about the boss fights with a character spec'ed up on stealth, but I'll just do some internetting if I get stuck.
Thanks for the suggestions.
